Ms. Cothern's students formed a design and hypothesis and then did a "practice run" so they knew what modifications needed to be made. Students had to explain their designs to the group while the other students took notes and made predictions. Then, they finally did the drop. Students completed their conclusions by explaining what worked and what they would change if they had the opportunity to redo the project.
Just a reminder that elementary, junior high, and high school volleyball camp forms are due to each building's office by this Thursday (4-28-22).

The HS Choir recently took a break from rehearsing for their spring concert to have fun playing "Y.M.C.A." using Boomwhackers!!
The High School Guitar Class improved their music reading, guitar technique, and ensemble skills through the rehearsal and performance of small-group pieces.
Mrs, Chase’s High School Theatrical Arts Class presented the morality play “Everyman” to a few classes of 7th graders. The high school actors learned about vocal, body and facial expression, memorization, projection, improvisation, ensemble skills, and theatre tech through the process of preparing this play. Bravo to you all!

Fourth grade Art students at Lincoln are learning about organic and geometric shapes. They created beautiful 3-D organic sculptures.
We celebrated before break by making baskets and filling them with candy. Mr. Bauer was our “Guest Bunny”. Each student had a spotlight moment where their friends gave them clues for the hunt.

Mrs. Smith’s Kindergarten class has been watching our caterpillars eat, grow, make a chrysalis and change into butterflies! Today we released them and watched them fly away.
