The PHS choir enjoyed a visit from Professor Kellie Clark, Director of Choral Activities from Eastern Illinois University, this week! She worked woth our singers in preparation for Friday's IHSA Organizational Contest and shared information about singing in college!

Mrs Sloan’s 4th graders were using their engineering & math skills in the MakerSpace to build ladders 🪜 with a value of 180 or less. A few teams created amazing ladders but exceeded 180. Redesigning came in to play.

Mrs Hedderich’s 4th graders created ladders 🪜 in the MakerSpace with intooba rods. Their ladder had to have a value or 180 or less. They focused on the Engineering & Math in STEM.
On Wednesday April 13th Juniors taking the SAT will be able to earn the privilege of being dismissed upon completion of the test. This will be at approximately 1:00pm.
Freshmen and sophomores will be taking the PSAT on Wednesday April 13th. When testing is completed, weather permitting, they will have the opportunity to take part in field day activities. Those who can arrange transportation will be released at 1:00pm.
Wednesday April 13th is SAT/PSAT Testing Day for 9th, 10th & 11th grade students. It is also College, trade school and apprenticeship visit day for seniors. Seniors who are taking this opportunity do not have school on the 13th.
