Mrs. Robinson's Geometry class started their popsicle-stick bridge building this week. Their ideas were modeled from famous bridges around the world they saw in using the VR headsets in the STEM lab.





Wednesday was college attire day and it was perfect for seniors to show off their college/career path!


Today, Mr. Lipe's driver ed students used the stem lab to practice driver reaction skills using the VR headsets.

PHS Art Club celebrated its last meeting with graduating Senior student members with a Pizza party! I thank each one of you for attending meetings, creating artwork, and helping out when you were available. Next year will be even more busy! Keep on creating!

The Sophomore class is having a Nelsons drive thru chicken dinner for a fundraiser, May 18th. You can purchase a meal online, then pick up your meal on the 18th between 4 and 6:00 pm.

Special Congratulations to PJHS Math teacher Cindy McKinney for being inducted into the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame as a player. Also PHS Health/PE teacher Brent McKinney for his IBCA coach of the year award. Great day to be a Panther!!!

Foods & Nutrition students visited the Culinary Institute at Lincoln Land Community College and learned knife skills and some baking tips!!
