Congratulations to Sophomore John Berns on his Illinois Music Educators Association All State weekend! His 1st Place winning Choral Composition, "Dies Irae", was performed live for hundreds of music educators and All State students; he was awarded his certificate for his composition at a ceremony, and he sang as part of the 300 voice Honors Choir at the Honors Concert. Ag Industry students have been learning about Plant and Animal cells this week. They prepped their own wet mount slides to get an up close view of an onion through a microscope. Students were able to observe and record the structure of a plant cell and it’s nucleus.

2nd graders in Mrs Rodman’s & Mrs Lehn’s classes were busy making a downhill skier that will make it down our “mountain” next week during Tech Time. Can’t wait to see who has the fastest skier next week.
