🌟🐜 It's been a little buggy in 6th grade science at PJHS! 🐛 Students got creative making insect nets for extra credit! 🐞

4th graders in Mrs. Sloan's and Mrs. Mathis's classrooms had a surprise visit from Howard and Molly today. Howard (age 10) and Molly (age 6) are the main characters in their novel study of The Kid in the Red Jacket- a book about overcoming life's hardest challenges written by Barbara Park.

Coding + Creativity = Fun! Our fifth graders used Sphero BOLT robots to bring their drawings to life this week! 🤖 They coded pictures and played an exciting game of Pictionary, guessing their partner's creations through robot movements.

Mindful Mondays are a hit in Mrs. Schutt's 6th grade science class! This week, students teamed up for the Human Heart and Share a Chair activities, focusing on teamwork and collaboration.

The Scholastic Book Fair is coming to PJHS. The Book Fair will be open to PJHS students from October 6-8 before school and during grade level lunch hours.

The Book Fair will be open to families on October 9 during Parent-Teacher Conferences.

9/25 HOCO week Dress Up Day: DRESS TO IMPRESS. The students looked fabulous on picture day!

Mrs. Schafer and her second graders teamed up with Mrs. Hubbartt to design and test parachutes! This STEM activity complemented their reading lesson on smoke jumpers, highlighting the real-world applications of parachutes in firefighting!
