🚜💥 Back in action again! PJHS 8th graders took to the arena for an epic Demo Derby with their 3-D tractors! Huge congrats to the champs, Jayden Stone and Parker Durham! 🏆✨




🏀💪 PJHS 7th graders put away the math textbooks and tried using math strategies added with a bit of friendly competition. 🔥📚 Definitely harder than it looks.




🎉 PJHS 6th graders took on the Impossible Domino Tower Challenge! They had to stack, balance, and create the specific design with 16 dominos! Only a few conquered the impossible challenge! 😊✨

Congratulations to some of our PHS Choir students on earning special recognition at the IHSA Solo and Ensemble Contest on Saturday March 8 hosted by Central A&M High School. We are proud of Cayden Hankins, Gabby Heinrich, and Jayda Oary for earning perfect scores on their vocal solos; Gabby Heinrich also earned the "Best Solo of the Day" award for her judging room. Also, the PHS Treble Choir earned the "Best Ensemble of the Day" award for their judging room. The PHS Treble Choir consisted of Jayda Oary, Aurora Bryant, Liberty Law, Chloe Toohey, Brieanna Lenz, Haven Blodgett, Gabriella Heinrich, Alexis Smith, and Alyssa Jones, Madison Solomon and Maisen Virden. Not pictured is Harley Nichols-Owens. Congratulations to all these amazing musicians!


Several members of the PHS Choir enjoyed seeing the Tony-Award winning Broadway musical "Kimberly Akimbo" at the Fabulous Fox Theater recently!

PCUSD students made some new friends last week, and PHS families became just a little bit larger. As part of Pana High School's annual German-American Partnership Program Exchange, we are happy to welcome this crew to our schools and our homes! On Wednesday, April 9th, PHS students will witness a mock car crash. Reps from multiple agencies will be present including law enforcement, fire department, coroner and a helicopter if weather permits. Students will be dismissed at the conclusion of the events at approx. 1:45.
ACT Testing will take place at the high school tomorrow, April 8th. Seniors will not be in attendance. 9th and 10th grade will be dismissed at 11:45. Juniors at 12:45. Lunch will be served.
ACT Testing at PHS on Tuesday: Parents , Please help your student remember to get a good night's rest and bring a chromebook to school.

Ms. Coleman's 5th graders delivered a hilarious April Fools' Day surprise for Ms. Hahnenkamp! The look on her face when she saw what their screen looked like was pure shock and amusement. It's great to see the joy and lightheartedness in the classroom. Well done class!

These two girlies are the first to have earned one hundred points in AR. Mrs. Epley bought them lunch from McDonald's to celebrate this accomplishment. Way to go, Lily and Hailey!
