And they’re constructing! 👀 at the ideas. They are trying to construct a boat that will hold 102 pennies. Can you guess why we chose that #? We will see who in Ms Hahnenkamp’s class can meet the challenge. Mrs Mahnke has accepted the challenge as well. Results to come later.
What a great turn out at our annual parent breakfast "Morning Muffins" @ Lincoln Elementary. Mrs. Matthews, Title 1 building coordinator, did an amazing job preparing & serving our 300-plus guests, with games and resources and keeping everyone organized. Thanks to all who helped!
Mrs. Lehn's class started the Mayflower Challenge today. With limited supplies, pairs of students had to plan and create a boat that will really float. Tomorrow, we will test their designs to see how many pennies they will hold while remaining afloat!
