
Students in Ms Hahnenkamp’s class have been learning about coding by doing a few unplugged activities to get them ready to code on the chromes. Next week they will begin their journey using code.org.

Mrs Jones and Ms Hahnenkamp’s classes welcomed Mrs Berner to talk to them about bees. She told us how they get their bees, the jobs of the bees, & how they harvest the honey. She also let students try the honey.

Today Ms Hahnenkamp’s students learned about google docs. They have been studying parts of a letter, so they began typing a letter to their grandparents.




Today Ms Hahnenkamp’s student began their 100 mile challenge at recess. Look 👀 these students & Ms H reached a half mile. This is so much fun! Thanks to Mr Bauer & school board for funding this program.



The Introduction to Agriculture classes have been busy learning about character and leadership qualities. Here they are working on their “build a leader”.

Congrats to Austyn Dagen, Cameron Banning, Taylor Beck, Noah Weeden, Cayden Hankins, Brandon Schulz, Shane Warren, Devin Smith, Lukis Merrifield, Mya Smith, Kaylee Patrick, Kali Budds, Dalton Cole, Katie Christer, and Leah Christman for receiving positive office referrals and signing the PJHS Wall of Fame last week!


Today PJHS students celebrated completing Crushin’ It boot camp. For the last 2 weeks, students have learned about conflict resolution, proper technology use, good manners, doing the right thing and self regulation during Crushin’ It boot camp. Today’s celebration included hot dogs, Crush soda and extra recess time.




Reminder for the week: NO SCHOOL on Monday, September 2nd, for Labor Day.

2nd gr is a blast! Students in Ms Hahnenkamp’s class watched the reaction of baking soda, baking powder, & sugar with vinegar. Then they launched a water bottle. Next week, we are going to search more into why it makes that reaction.
