Mrs. Schmitz’s class celebrated Pioneer Day today. They dressed as pioneer children, made yarn dolls, created pioneer journals, played pioneer games, and even did laundry using a washboard and tub. This special day was planned to celebrate the end of our unit on life long ago and to celebrate finishing the book Little House in the Big Woods. We had so much fun!

Terry Rodman from Graphic Packaging International visited Mrs. Rodman’s Second Grade Class. He discussed GPI products, jobs, careers, and dedication to renewal. The class watched a video which brought about great discussion concerning careers in programming and robotics. A big THANK YOU to GPI for giving trees to our class! Thank you Mr. Rodman for the fun presentation.
