First grade’s Pioneer Day was a success! Mrs. Crawford’s class had a pioneer feast and did many pioneer games and activities!
Mrs. Schmitz’s class celebrated Pioneer Day today. They dressed as pioneer children, made yarn dolls, created pioneer journals, played pioneer games, and even did laundry using a washboard and tub. This special day was planned to celebrate the end of our unit on life long ago and to celebrate finishing the book Little House in the Big Woods. We had so much fun!
