
6th graders visited Cahokia Mounds today. Students were able to climb one of the major mounds and observe many ancient artifacts.

Junior students add community service projects to their college portfolios and help beautify the community. Way to go!

8th annual PJHS 5k was a great event! Congrats to all the student and teacher runners! Thank you to everyone who came out to cheer us on along the route!


Ms Hahnenkamp’s class was given the task of handing the Jr High 5K runners water cups as they ran by. Students loved doing this and cheering the runners on. Thanks Mrs Hay for asking us to help!

Mrs. Morrell’s 2nd grade enjoyed a tour at Carnegie Schuyler Library today. The students learned how easy and fun it can be to check out books. This trip will hopefully encourage the students to read over the summer.

Ms Hahnenkamp’s class had the privilege to meet Jerry, a Vietnam vet, who they wrote letters to for the Land of Lincoln Honor Flight. He was so touched by their letters that he wanted to thank them personally. Thanks to Mrs Bauman for being his guardian.
