Mrs. Sloan's class got creative with STEM last week, building octahedrons with Strawbees! Two curious students even went beyond and made another 3D shape. Can you guess what it is? #STEMfun #Strawbees (Search "polyhedron" to learn more about these cool shapes!)
Ms. Hahnenkamp and three 5th grade students, Brylee, Samantha, and Reva, wowed the Central IL STEM Fair in Rochester last Wednesday! They brought two Cricut machines (thanks PEF for the machines) and taught attendees of all ages how to create their own cutouts. #STEMFair #CircuitMachines #GreatJob
🎨What's Happening in the Art Room PHS Edition:🎨
Painting students a few weeks ago wrapped up their Pop Art Still Life paintings. I forgot about the Artist of the week...so representing PHS are Gwen and Paige!
Both ladies did an excellent job composition wise with their custom painting projects. All art students chose their own candy and still life setup. This also includes sketching large and finishing the project with blending acrylic paint colors. Thank you for completing amazing artwork in the art room! #Becreative🎨 #Paintingstudents🧑🏻🎨 #GoPanthers🐾
This amazing group of young singers just earned three Division 1 (Superior) Ratings at IHSA Organizational Contest! Great job and way to represent Pana High School. We are soooo proud of you!! Congrats also to Mrs. Chase and student teacher Mrs. Roberts!
The 6th grade team held a March Madness Checkers competition these past few weeks. Today was the championship game between Will Sarver and Channing Allen. They both strategized and played a great game, but in the end, Will came out on top and was this year Checker Champion!
Getting messy with spelling words in Mrs. Crawford's class!
