And congrats to our Ensembles for earning all Superior (Division I) Ratings: Liberty Law and Cayden Hankins, Duet; Gabby Heinrich and Haven Blodgett, Duet; Bass Ensemble consisting of Cayden Hankins, Emmett Mendenhall, Renee Tucker, Ruben Grenados-Sanchez, and Johnathan Wade; and Treble Choir consisting of Haven Blodgett, Gabby Henrich, Jayda Oary, Madison Solomon, Maisen Virden, Harley Nichols-Owens, Liberty Law, Alyssa Jones, Lexi Smith, Chloe Toohey, Aurora Bryant, and Brie Lenz.
Notably, three of our soloists earned perfect scores: Jayda Oary, Cayden Hankins, and Gabby Heinrich. AND we had two events, the Treble Ensemble and Gabby Heinrich's solo, earn BEST OF DAY recognition for their room.

Mr. Nance from Anderson Prairie came in and spoke to the Horticulture class today. They have partnered with Mr. Nance to start some plants for the prairie this year.




Thank you Pana Education Foundation for providing PHS AP Biology students with the biotechnology equipment to explore DNA and how we can manipulate it!







Tonight at 6:30 in Divernon, your 7th grade Lady Panthers will face Staunton with the opportunity to win an IESA Sectional Championship and move onto the State Tournament. Be there, be loud, and root on your Lady Panthers!

Today the High School had a field trip to the OKAW Area Vocational Center. 130 students were given the opportunity to check out the 11 programs offered at the OKAW Center. These programs can offer students work skills and experience, certifications, trade school prep, and even dual credits for our traditional college bound students.

🏐✨ Big shoutout to our incredible 7th grade volleyball team for winning the 3A Auburn Regional Champs title! 🏆💖 They'll be playing Staunton at the Auburn Sectional this Monday at 6:30 PM in Divernon. A special congrats to Aubree Bird for receiving the Sportsmanship award! 🌟


Congratulations to our 7th grade volleyball team for taking home the championship of the Class 3A Auburn Regional! The girls will advance to play against Staunton at the Auburn Sectional Monday at 6:30 in Divernon. Go Panthers!


This amazing performance will feature the Pana Junior and Senior High School Choirs along with High School vocal solos and ensemble performances. The 6th grade choir will be making their debut at this concert and they welcome you all to come support music in our schools! Wednesday, March 12, 6:30PM PJHS Auditorium. Hope to see you there!

On March 5, 2025, at approximately 9:00 am, our campus was placed on temporary lockdown while administration immediately addressed a statement found on a bathroom stall at PJHS. The matter was thoroughly investigated by the Pana Police Department and handled quickly. It was determined that there was no threat found.

Congratulations to our February First National Bank Senior of the Month- Clyde Witt! Clyde is the son of Darren and Cindy Witt.
Clyde is a member of the National Honor Society, and FFA where is the Secretary and Ag Plot Manager. Outside of school, Clyde works for Denton Farm Drainage and is a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church.
After high school, Clyde plans to attend Lake Land College and further his knowledge and skills in the Diesel Mechanic Field!

The National Honor Society will host a Blood Drive on March 5 from 9 to 2 in the Small Gym. This blood drive will help our Senior Class earn a $5000 scholarship from the Red Cross. Please log in to the Red Cross and schedule your appointment. Walk-ins are also welcome
