🌟 STEM class success at PJHS! 🚀 Huge congrats to Gavin Stark and Karen Ivon for winning the Trebuchet catapult design, launching marshmallows an average of 700 cm (22 ft) and hitting a record of over a 900 cm (29 ft) launch! 🎉 To celebrate the successful builds all quarter, the class had a fun Taco Party learning how to build the perfect taco! 🌮✨

To celebrate National Agricultural Literacy Week, Aubrey and Issabell from the FFA visited Mrs. Simpson's Preschool class and taught a lesson all about soil. They read a story about the importance of soil and presented a slide show discussing the different layers of soil. Our favorite part was sticking a clear straw through a candy bar to show an example of the layers in soil. It was really neat! The kids absolutely loved it!









Learning about simple machines in Tech Time! Our students from K, 1st, and 5th grade put their skills to the test, building 'gold' scoopers. Take a look!

The Ducks are Coming!!! Get ready for the PHS student council duck hunt!


These PHS thespians are having so much fun preparing for their Spring Showcase "Dancing Through Life", which will feature a talent showcase and a short play entitled "Oz". The show goes up Friday, March 28 at 6:30pm. Tickets are $10 for ages 5 and up...this admission fee helps us with the expenses of putting on the show. It's going to be an incredible evening of theatrical entertainment!


It is getting harder and harder to choose only one winner per table. Mrs. Epley's third graders have amazing cursive handwriting!! Addie was the winner this week!

This team placed 5th at the Section 19 Poultry contest. They took a written test, identified parts, evaluated poultry carasses as well as interior and exterior eggs. Our top 5 will advance to the State contest in April.
