Borgics students got to experience wash-in, wash-out Biosecurity measures to reduce the chance of disease on the facility. They were able to see the breeding to weaning process, watch sows be breed through AI process, helped sleeve a sow and assist in pulling a piglet and held some pigs that were one day away from weaning. Bauman's they learned more about the ins and outs of raising dairy cattle and the sanitation and required in the dairy industry, as well as the overall health of each cow. It was a great day and we are thankful for Borgics and Bauman's for having us!

The Pana High School Bass Fishing club travelled to Sangchris lake on Thursday May 4th to compete in the state sectional bass tournament. Though the fishing was a bit rough the kids had a good time and learned a lot. We would also like to thank all the sponsors for their support and assistant coaches for all their time and effort this year.
