Girls basketball today going to the Riverton Tournament has been cancelled due to forecasted weather conditions. There will be a new schedule coming out in the near future.

Washington & Lincoln will be dismissed at 2:15pm.

The third graders have enjoyed planning, building, and testing their parachutes during Tech. Time with Ms. Hahnenkamp! Look at these awesome attempts to help Santa land safely!
The Pana Junior High and High School Choirs invite you all to their peformance at Christmas at Kitchell Park on Tuesday, December 20 starting at 6:00PM! As you can see from the attached program, it will be a program filled with holiday music cheer from our full choirs, as well as our talented soloists and small ensembles! The performance will last about an hour. Singers are to report by 5:30pm. Hope you can join us!

Mrs. Mathis’ students had a great time planning and creating a shelf for their elf to sit on this week! They could only use two cans of Play-Doh and twenty popsicle sticks to complete the challenge.
Mrs. King’s class made gingerbread houses on a $1 budget. Students had to plan, design, and budget their gingerbread money in order to build a gingerbread house. Check out these cool creations that they created! Thanks to all of the parents and volunteers that came in today.

Take a look at these creative edible cell models that some of Mrs. Schutt's sixth grade students made this week! They all did an awesome job recreating a cell model with food.
Congratulations to Blayne Pope on breaking the Squat record for Pana High School with a squat of 495 lbs. This breaks a record once held by Sawyer McGrath with a squat of 480 lbs.
Last week Mrs. Crawford’s class practiced what it means to provide an act of service for others. We made hot chocolate and the students delivered it to school staff all over the building! We had so much fun! We also had enough to give ourselves a cup for all of our hard work.😉☕️

We need your help!! We are delivering items to the food pantry on Thursday- and we need MORE items! Cleans those pantries out and bring any canned or non-perishable items to the PHS office! Help your neighbor this December! We hope to make a decent donation. 🤍
6th grade Reading/Writing Workshop students have been busy writing and illustrating their own books! They also read a picture book about Christmas ornaments and 3D printed an ornament of their own!
