Shhhh! Don’t tell our moms! Mrs. Rodman’s class has been studying about plants and pollinators. So for Mother’s Day we painted pots, planted flowers , and harvested seeds so we can plant more flowers. 🌸
Today, a lot of us failed, and we learned that can be a GOOD THING! We had to figure out how to try, and try, then try some more.
We were challenged in STEM to build a bird’s nest 10 unifix cubes high with a balanced Dixie cup on top.
To make it even more of a challenge, there had to be toothpicks crisscrossed on top of the open part of the Dixie cup with a balanced peep on top of that.
We worked through a LOT of tears, and we learned a very valuable lesson. Sometimes, failing is what makes us stronger and better learners- both at school and in life.
I’m so proud of EVERY one of my kiddos- the ones that were successful AND the ones that failed. Perseverance is not easy, and we all got a little better at it today. ❤️
