7th Grade students in Mrs. Mathon's LA class helped each other out by working together and editing their personal narrative stories this week. Each student in the group was given an editing task to complete while reading their partner's story.

The Welding classes have been hard at work.
Physical science students learned about concentration of solutions today by performing a sugar concentration lab in which several layers of different density and color were stacked upon each other in a graduated cylinder.
We can't wait to see everyone out at the park tonight!
As part of their unit on Egypt, 6th graders in Mr. Matthews's class created an Egyptian Cartouche of their name using a 3-D modeling program called Tinkercad. They were able to print their Cartouche this week using the 3-D printers in the I.C.E. Box.

Congrats to Sophomore John Berns on earning FIRST PLACE in the Choral Division of the Illinois Music Educators Association Composition Contest! He earned this accolade for his setting of the Latin text "Dies Irae". What a neat honor for him and our music department!
