To celebrate National Agricultural Literacy Week, Aubrey and Issabell from the FFA visited Mrs. Simpson's Preschool class and taught a lesson all about soil. They read a story about the importance of soil and presented a slide show discussing the different layers of soil. Our favorite part was sticking a clear straw through a candy bar to show an example of the layers in soil. It was really neat! The kids absolutely loved it!
