Parents and Students: There will be a 3-hour early dismissal on Monday, March 16th. The Governor announced all public & private schools will be closed Tuesday, March 17th, through Monday, March 30th. More information on distance learning will be sent out next week.

Mrs. Crawford’s class loves doing Write-the-Rooms! It looks like Gavyn has found one! This one helped us practice greater than/less than/equal to.
Mrs. Schmitz’s class enjoyed a dilly bar treat. Our class had the highest attendance rate for the month of February!

A STEM project in Mrs. King’s Science class today. Students had to build a leprechaun out of 2 pipe cleaners, and create a trap to capture him. We had some really great ideas!!
John and Vivian Anderson from Distress Bandanna were guest speakers in our Driver Education classes today.
Congratulations to Lane Perry on breaking the school record for hang cleans with a lift of 285 lbs.
This week at PJHS...congrats to the February SOMs Jessica Vaughn, Logan Sims, Belle Anderson, Dillan Hocq, Drake McNeely, and Kennedy Bowker; Clayton Taylor and Jeremiah Cravens signed the Wall of Fame; and the 7th grade class won the ice cream sandwich pop up party for using their chrome books responsibly. Way to represent PJHS!

Thank you to the Ag in the Classroom program. Mrs. Schmitz’s class got to be scientists today. We learned about why soil is important and searched for items hidden in their soil containers using tweezers and magnifying glasses.
Mrs. LaMarche's 1st grade class had fun being soil scientists today! We found bugs, sand, leaves, sticks, and rocks in our soil! A big thanks goes to Ms. Livingston and the Ag in the Classroom program!
Do you like green eggs and ham? Mrs Morrell’s Second Grade class found out today. They were challenged to find the 50 different words Dr. Seuss used in his book.
Friday afternoon had Ms Hahnenkamp’s class collaborating during reading-recounting story event and author’s purpose. They rocked it!
