Attached is information on the arrival & dismissal procedures at Pana Elementary School. We are excited to begin the school year in a safe and organized manner!
**PreK Information on arrival & dismissal will be coming in the next couple of days. This information will be directly relayed to the parents of PreK students.

This is just a reminder that the first athletic handbook meeting will be tomorrow at 5 PM in the Pana High School Commons. All junior high and high school student athletes and their parents must attend an athletic handbook meeting.
There will also be meetings on the following dates:
August 5th - 5 PM
August 6th - 5 PM
If you cannot attend any of these meetings, please email AD Stile Smith at ssmith@panaschools.com.

Remember, attending a handbook meeting is mandatory to participate in Pana CUSD 8 athletics, band, or choir.
If you cannot attend any of these meetings, email AD Stile Smith at ssmith@panaschools.com to go through the handbook at another time.
Please note: The Dates and Times document on the Back to School Page inadvertently listed August 16th, the first day of school, as a 45 minute early dismissal day. That is a mistake and has been corrected. We apologize for any confusion or inconvenience this may have caused.
**Kindergarten Parents Only:
August 16th, August 19th, & August 20th will be 8:15-11:45am school days for your child.
There will be no bus service for Kindergarten students on these 3 days.
On Wednesday, August 21st, bus service will begin for Kindergarten students and they will attend from 8:15-2pm (45 minute early dismissal every Wednesday).

We are once again sharing the Kindergarten Entrance Survey! We have only heard from 46 families about their Kindergartener and we know there will be more friends joining us at the new Pana Elementary School!!
**Students will not be placed with a Kindergarten teacher until the Kindergarten Entrance Survey has been filled out. **

The First United Methodist Church in Pana is holding their VBS July 15-19 from 9-11:30 each morning, and are in need of at least a couple more volunteers to lead recreation and craft stations. Please contact Jenny Leon at jlehn@panaschools.com if interested.
