Ms. Hahnenkamp's idea comes to life! Good Deeds Group and AAMP team up to put a " Blessing Box" / mini food pantry for the community to use on the front porch of the AAMP building at 215 S Locust Street. People may access the pantry 24/7. The community is encouraged to take what they need and give what they can. Please help spread the word!

PHS Student Council spent the day at Lakeland College attending a Leadership Conference. The students got to attend sessions on leadership and communication. They really enjoyed the keynote speaker! One student even won a 3 credit tuition waiver AND airpods! It was a great day!

Mrs. Reynolds' class was challenged to see who could build the tallest free standing structure using only 25 toothpicks and 30 marshmallows. Several structures measured 5 inches. Way to go!
Tomorrow, February 6th, all juniors will be going on an OKAW Tour at the OKAW center in Vandalia to learn about the programs available to them their senior year. Registration for these programs is available!

Mrs. Simpson's Preschool classes got to mix different colors of paints to create new colors today. First, they mixed red and blue to make purple. Then, they mixed blue and yellow to make green. The students really enjoyed this activity.
