Mrs. Anselm's Book Club at PJHS has been spreading KINDNESS by delivering Valentines to local nursing homes. Earlier this month, students made Valentines for the Book Club to deliver.
PHS STUCO offered Valentine Candy Grams this week and last! Students could send a card and candy to another student of their choice. We hope to have spread some joy!

Mrs. Mathis's 4th graders worked hard to find the area and perimeter of triangles this week. Then, they were able to successfully code the bots to roll around the perimeter of the triangles!
Mrs. Cross's Fourth graders tested out their solar cars and turbines today! Every group had a successful run!
Thanks to Brittany Eakle, branch manager from Land of Lincoln Credit Union for coming in to talking to the Money 101 class about savings accounts. She also talked about the differences between a bank and credit union.
This week at PJHS we celebrated Mrs. Sowarsh! We appreciate all that she does for our students to help them be successful in and outside of the classroom!
Mrs. Smith's students were having snow much fun constructing tall snow structures today using only 25 toothpicks and 30 marshmallows. One of the structures measured 7 inches!
The High school bass team would like to thank all the sponsors for their generous donations to allow us to purchase several fishing rod and reel combos and baits/line to help us out this season. Your generosity is appreciated.
Congratulations to the Pana High School Choir as they hosted around 230 singers from area schools in the annual Area Choral Festival on February 8. The students loved working with guest director J. Ryan Rimington from Neuqua Valley High School and presented an amazing concert! What a great thing for our school and community!
The Pana High School scholarship dinner will be on Monday May 6th at 7:00pm in the high school cafeteria. We are excited to recognize the achievements of our seniors and celebrate their successes.

Snow much learning and fun today in Mrs. Beyers' class. The students were challenged to build the tallest free standing structure using only 25 toothpick and 30 marshmallows. A few structures measured 5 1/2 inches. Way to go!
Ms. Hahnenkamp's idea comes to life! Good Deeds Group and AAMP team up to put a " Blessing Box" / mini food pantry for the community to use on the front porch of the AAMP building at 215 S Locust Street. People may access the pantry 24/7. The community is encouraged to take what they need and give what they can. Please help spread the word!
Music class is the place to be with Mrs. Neal. These kids are singing and dancing today. Nothing better than having fun with your classmates while you are learning!
