Last Wednesday, November 8th 10 Jr High members attended the Fall Middle School Conference hosted at ICC.
Members interacted with other students from across the state, participated in team building and leadership activities, learned about various Career and Leadership Development Events and opportunities in FFA. Students were also given a tour of the ag segment of the college and career opportunities in the ag industry.
PHS Seniors Megan Scoles, Emma Stephens and John Berns sang the National Anthem at the Pana Veterans Day ceremony at Kitchell Park on November 11. Thank for your sharing your musical talents with our community!

Craft students were able to explore hand sewing in a very small way. Intro to Art students wrapped up their acrylic landscape canvas paintings also. Ask what your child is currently working on in Art. Also, Congrats to the Artists of the Week!

Today students honored our community Veterans at PJHS. The Panther Den planned and led our assembly which included music from the choir and band.
Happy Veterans Day to all the veterans out there! We appreciate you! Mrs. Crawford's first graders made thank you cards for a local nursing home to deliver to their veteran residents. We also made our own dog tags after learning about all the gear a soldier has to wear. 🇺🇸

Mrs. Perry's horticulture class began building their plant mazes today. They will use them to experiment with the impact of light on plant growth.

What an incredible day for the PHS Music Department! Congrats to Gabby Heinrich, John Berns and Emma Stephens on representing PHS so well at the ILMEA District 5 Jazz Festival on Saturday , Nov 4. They enjoyed rehearsing under the direction of Dr. Alex Manfredo with many talented singers from area schools. Then, the performance was absolutely fantastic and ALL THREE of our Pana Choir members had featured solos! Congrats, kids!
