The Pana School District is hiring for route bus drivers and substitute bus drivers.
A valid CDL is required or you must be able to obtain one.
You must be able to pass a background check and a drug test.
Hours vary but usually a morning and an afternoon route.
Applications can be printed off the District web page or picked up at the Unit Office.

Wednesday night the Pana FFA had 5 members attend Greenhand Conference at the University of Illinois. They learned about leadership and had a great time meeting new people.

Panther Fans! Tonight the Pana volleyball team is hosting their annual Pink Night against Piasa Southwestern. The freshman match will start at 5:00, with JV and varsity matches to follow. We will be raising awareness for breast cancer and helping to support the Pana Community Hospital's efforts to prevent and diagnose breast cancer.
In lieu of admission prices, we will be accepting donations at the door with all proceeds going to the Pana Community Hospital. The volleyball players will be wearing pink jerseys for the evening and we will ask any survivors in attendance at the game to be recognized between the JV and varsity matches.
The Pana Fire Department visited us for a practice fire drill (with the alarm!) and then spent time with Kindergarten talking about important topics like candles, having a plan and STOP-DROP-ROLL! After all the discussion, Kindergarten rode on the fire trucks and got their pictures taken with the firemen. Thank you to the Pana Fire Department for coming to see our kiddos and helping them practice how to be safe.
The Class of 2024 attended Career Day at Lake Land College on October 3rd. The students attended sessions on possible career paths and were able to meet with over 40 colleges.
Mrs. Perry's Intro class continued to work at stations today. Poultry and dairy foods were part of the rotations.

Come join us on Thursday (October 5th, 2023) as the Pana High School Volleyball teams take on Piasa Southwestern in a conference match up. It is also our PINK NIGHT in which we will be taking donations at the door with all proceeds going to the Pana Hospital. We will also be recognizing any breast cancer survivors by having any that are in attendance stand and be honored just prior to the start of the varsity match. Come out and wear pink while supporting a very good cause. The freshmen/sophomore match starts at 5:00 with the JV and varsity to follow.

Mrs. LaMarche's first grade class had a great time at the fire station today! The fire fighters taught us about fire safety, and showed us their tools and equipment. We also got to go for a ride on a fire truck! So fun!
