4th graders in Mrs. Sloan's class reviewed their math skills by Bowling with Bolt. Students drove Bolt to knock down pins. First they had to multiply the numbers on the pins each turn for 4 rounds. Then they added those products to see their total amount knocked down and finally divided to get their average score.

Borgics students got to experience wash-in, wash-out Biosecurity measures to reduce the chance of disease on the facility. They were able to see the breeding to weaning process, watch sows be breed through AI process, helped sleeve a sow and assist in pulling a piglet and held some pigs that were one day away from weaning. Bauman's they learned more about the ins and outs of raising dairy cattle and the sanitation and required in the dairy industry, as well as the overall health of each cow. It was a great day and we are thankful for Borgics and Bauman's for having us!
